YJ Link, a smart factory specialist with expertise in surface mount technology (SMT), announced on the 19th that it signed a contract to supply a full SMT production line for automotive applications. The deal was made with Company K, a tier-1 supplier to Hyundai Motor Company, and is valued at approximately 2.6 billion KRW (about 2 million USD). Under this agreement, YJ Link will build a complete SMT line—including both front-end and back-end processes—at Company K’s facility in Daegu by July 31.
